With the characters, esp at the buffets, sometimes you end up having to wait to see all the characters even though you've eaten relatively fast. I would pad for an hour and a half or more. :)

OK...I can't speak for everyone, but here's how our timing went when we ate at these spots...

1. Chef MIckey's- we had a 7:05a and were finished by 8:15am; however, we also took a little extra time since we had a custom cake delivered to this meal. We would have been finished by 8am if there were no cake.

2. CRT- this was a shocker...we had the 8:05a and we were finished just before 9am. We'd had lunch and dinner here previously and it took us 1.5 hrs, but breakfast was quite efficient.

3. 'Ohana - we had a 7:35a ADR and I recall getting out around 8:45a. I think we would have been ready closer to 8:30a, but the kids wanted to do the parade which pushed back our timing a bit.

In general, we've found character breakfasts run MUCH faster than lunch and dinner. I'd say lunch and dinner at any character spot is easily a 1.25-1.50hr event, but breakfast seems to be right around an hour in every single character breakfast we've done (and we've done them all :D). Still, I'm sure it could take longer if you linger over the buffet or are not in a good spot in the character line up. Hope this helps! :)
