They only mention the history of the land, not what year the land is supposed to be set in.

My question is based on something so small and so inconspicuous, it would not matter much otherwise. That something is the license plates on the backs of "Lenny", the cab you ride in the Roger Rabbit ride. The year on it is for 1947, the year in which "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" is set. The Disney-themed license plates on the wall in the queue nearby also backs this up, showing off years between 1931 and 1947, if you look at them carefully.

On the other hand, inside Mickey's House, one of the books on the bookshelf is labeled as being published in 1954, so that kinda muddles things a bit.

I don't think there is a distinct period for the whole land. One of the rides is a Rescue Rangers ride, which is from the late 80's.

Continuing from this post, I have something else to add to that. In the queue for the Roger Rabbit ride, there is a bulletin board, on which a flyer is tacked, which advertises an audition for Toons for "Melody Time", which was in production in 1947 and released the following year:

The main reason why I'm trying to figure all of this out, about the time that this area is set in, is because I want to create a land similar to this for Disney's Hollywood Studios, set in the 1940s, possibly around the time of WW2: http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/...-at-dhs-open-brainstorming-part-three.868537/. If I can get an indication and a baseline, that will help me here.
