We just went to Disneyland for the first time since October,And found out some cool info, I hope this hasnt been reported yet!
The Haunted Mansion has a AWESOME cool new effect! In the seance room, Madame Leota's Crystal ball now floats freely in the air! It is the original Madame Leota (thanks Imagineers!) and she also has some cool green and purple light effects around her head. The overall Mansion looks great. The portraits in the hallway now flash with lightening, instad of the slow morphing look too. The CM was great there..He let Cal and I go into the stretch room alone, since Cal has claustrophobia, and the back way was a hard hat zone.
Disney Purists rejoice! The ORIGINAL Tiki room will return, totally rehabbed but NOT CHANGED! Did you know that it is the only attraction with Walt Disney's name on it?? Walt wanted the Tiki Room opened so badly he invested his own personal money into it...It was Walts favorite
It is being completely rehabbed. I can't wait!
The railroad is completely closed. They are replacing the railroad ties and track.
The 75 mMickey Statues are totally cool! We have some pics to post when I get them develped. I could'nt get next to the Ellenshaw Mickey, as it had some damage, and they had it roped off. I still got pics tho!
