Just looking for opinions on this. With rumors flying high that Disney will be returning the Tiki Room to its former glory, do you think that the Gilbert Gottfried controversy over the last couple of months was taken into consideration at all? Obviously the fire was the first step in the Tiki Room closing, but do you think Disney had enough of a problem with Gilbert's comments about the tsunami in Japan to want to remove Iago from the Tiki Room?

While it couldn't have helped matters, I doubt it was truly a factor. Captain Eo is still open. :lookaroun Godfrey's unfortunate remarks will be forgotten soon if they haven't been already.

Yes, they burned down the Tiki room to distance themselves from comments that hadn't been tweeted to about a natural disaster that hadn't occurred yet.

It's pretty obvious.
