I was hoping you folks could tell me if I am able to purchase the Ultimate Hopper pass. My Husband and I are staying for a week during September and due to the Shades of Green's construction, we're in the Contemporary.

Is there anyone out there who might share some info on how the tickets work with this arrangement. I know we're in a Disney resort...but will we qualify for the Ultimate Pass?

If the Military does not qualify, are there tips using the Plus Hopper to it's fullest potential;)

I've been trying:rolleyes: to call SOG...but it's a bear to get through, I figured you guys are faster:lol:

Thank you in advance!

Edited to add that we're not AD, Husband is retired, and we won't be having any little ones with us. Just us two big kids...but that doesn't keep us from the water parks!:sohappy:

Yes you will be able to buy tickets that are equivelent to the Ultimate Park Hoppers. They are called "Stars and Stripes" tickets and are available from the Shades of Green ticket office located in the Contemporary Resort North Garden Wing on the third floor. Once you get off the elevator just follow the signs. They are open from 8:00am to 9:00pm seven days a week. As an example a seven-day ticket costs $299.00.

The advantage to buying your tickets after you arrive is depending on your arrival and departure times you may want to drop the first and last partial days (e.g. you are getting in in the evening and leaving early in the day).

For more information you can check the Shades of Green offical web site at http://www.armymwr.com/shades/index.html

Also, as far as I know Shades of Green counts as a Disney hotel as far as perks go (E-Ride nights, etc) and if you are staying in another hotel at a negotiated rate then you should get the benefits of that hotel (early entry, etc) as well.
