Tickets from Undercover Tourist

I apologize if this is not the right place, but I am looking to buy tickets from Undercover tourist and hoping that someone can reply who has done the same thing.

We are staying off site this year, do not have magic bands and buying tickets from Undercover tourist. It says for the eticket I need to bring it to a will call window, which I don't recall seeing at the parks before, or attach it to the magic bands.

Has anyone done this with the bands that maybe you bought at the store before hand? Can I still book the fastpass before I get the actual ticket or bands with just the eticket?

To my understanding, when you buy etickets from UT, you won't get a physical card in the mail: instead, UT will e-mail you the code numbers of the set of ticket cards you've purchased, or just a pdf. scan of the physical tickets showing the code numbers, so you can immediately link the etickets to your MDE (My Disney Experience) account and assign them to the members of your traveling party. (The eticket option is designed for folks in a hurry, who want to link tickets to MDE immediately, and don't want to have to wait for ticket cards to arrive in the mail to find out their ticket numbers.)

Once you have the eticket numbers linked to MDE, you'll be able to make your FP+ reservations at 30 days out (since you are staying offsite), regardless of whether you have MagicBands in hand. The purpose of going to a Will Call window for UT etickets is that if you DON'T acquire and link MagicBands for each member of your traveling party before your visit, you'll still need some sort of physical ticket media to enter the parks, so you're going to Will Call to pick up the ticket cards that match your etickets. If you have MagicBands linked to your MDE account, then you use the MagicBands for park entry, and going to Will Call isn't necessary. (The MagicBands aren't "tickets" in and of themselves, but they allow Disney to "see" your entire MDE account and all of the tickets, dining reservations, on-site hotel information if any, and FP+, that are linked to that MDE account -- that kind of "one stop shopping" is their greatest feature).

I used them last trip and it was exactly as above. Saved some $$ and there was no problem at all with them.
