Newbie to IOA and just wondering how much of a pain is it to buy our IOA tickets upon arrival? I know I can buy them on line but would prefer not to in case the rest of the family decide that they really don't want to go. We will be spending a week at Disney and one day at IOA.

I know Universal and IOA are great and a totally different experience from Disney but when you have kids sometimes you just don't know what your going to get from day to day. Thanks

It's no more a pain than pretty much any other theme park... a quick tip, though, is to look for little stands selling the tickets in addition to the ticket booths. They can sometimes have a shorter line.

I would double check. When I went to IOA 2 years ago on an why not day trip, they charged me for a two park same day ticket at the gate (~$130), stating that they do not sell single park tickets at the gate.

Ugh that would suck. I looked on universal's web site and I think we will buy online the day before and pick up the tickets at the will call window.

You can even buy them the morning before you leave for the park. I bought them at the hotel before we left (to get the $20 off per ticket when purchased online) and then went to the kiosk...swiped my cc....and out came my tickets.

It is different than will call, I believe. I only remember it is directly to the right of the ticket booths...there are rows of kiosks w/ touch screens...you have to have your CC and the confirmation numbers...enter the info and out pops your tickets. This was done this past April....
