Tickets...Advance Purchase

hello everyone..

starting to plan our '09 WDW trip.

We want to start paying stuff in advance and the first item on the list are the tickets.

I just confirmed with Universal and I can purchase the tickets 2 or three years in advance.

I sent an email to disney but they havent reply to it.

does anyone knows if you can purchase the ticket online and use it a couple of years after?

and I believe this has nothing to do with the no expire option or the 14 days the tickets are valid after first use.

thanks in advance.

You can buy your tickets any time that suits you. The media doesn't activate until first use as you said.

I have two old room keys with single-day base tickets on them that have yet to be activated [we had APs last August, but wanted to avail ourselves of free DDP, so got the minimum ticket for the package]. I'm looking at going around that time in August for the next 5-10 years, if they keeping offering free dining, I may have these tickets for a very long time before I get a chance to use them!

Hey Javier! Are you booking a package at Disney or a room only on or off property? Just curious because this could impact your ticket purchase. You can also try companies like UndercoverTourist.com

They also have discounts on Universal and Sea World.

thanks for your replies..

im thinking of staying offsite...so I just need the tickets...

what I dont want is for all of our expenses to accumulate at the last moment. thats why I want to start purchasing the tickets, and use them in a couple of years..
