Hello this may seem like a very stupid question but I just clicked on the Mapleleaf tickets page and looked at the ticket prices and it looks like the discounted ticket prices are more than te gate price ticket how is that so or am I missing the entire picture of all this

I would make sure that you are comparing apples to apples. Disney tickets have several options (park hopping, no expiration, water park and more). The price you are looking at on Maple leaf might have one of those options added or you might be looking at the prices for Florida residents on Disney's site. Tax could also not be added to one or the other.

The last time I checked Maple Leaf Tickets (summer 05) the prices quoted on their website already had the sales tax included in it. The prices on the Disney site do not include tax. You have to choose your ticket option and then proceed to the payment page to find out the final (with tax added) price.
