Should I order my tickets online or buy at the gate? Are they cheaper online?

You should be able to save a few dollars by buying them beforehand rather than at the gate. There are some third party websites, like MapleLeaf and UndercoverTourist that are known to be reputable.

If you end up buying your tickets beforehand, be sure when you compare prices you look for the total price including tax and shipping. Different sites display the prices differently - some with tax, some without. Just make sure you are comparing apples to apples so you don't end up with any surprises.

We stay on Disney and end up getting our tickets through a vacation package, so I can't vouch for any ticket only sellers, but hopefully some other members can give you their opinions.

Buying from Disney there's no advantage to buying in advance unless the price goes up in the interim. As nepalostparks says, ticket brokers can provide a cheaper option, but make sure you check the total price when comparing and make sure they're reputable.

If your buying from Disney, the only thing it saves you is time the day of your first park visit. It eliminates have to wait in line to purchase tickets.

Personally, I like to get my tickets ahead of time if I can. I like not having to start my vacation by forking out sooooo much $$$ on my first day. I have the rest of the vacation to use up my credit card. :lol:

I have always ordered mine off of undercovertourist.com. This site is the cheapest I have found yet. They do not charge tax or shipping fees.

For example, the 6 day park hopper I just purchased was $286.
