Ticket and Water Park Question

If we have 8 day park hoppers, and add the water park option, can we go to he waterparks on the other days we are there, or does it have to be part of the 8 day park hopper days?

I hope that makes sense

I needed to read your question a few times, so let me make sure I understand. Are you asking can you use one of those 8 days solely at the water parks? In that case, yes. I'm pretty sure at my last two visits I've had days where I mixed together the water parks and theme parks and days where I only visited a water park.

But I'm also pretty certain that if you want to visit the water parks and not have it count against your 8 days, you would need to purchase separate admission tickets.

So we will be there 10 days, I was wondering if the 8 day park hopper is good for the amusement parks only, then on my two off days, I could go to the waterparks, with the add on of the water park option? I hope that makes more sense?

If I am not mistaken, your 8 day ticket will be good for 14 days. That "14 days" might be longer, but I am as close to as positive as I can be that it is not shorter. Since you are there for only 10 days, that ticket will be good for your entire stay.

During that 14 days you get 8 day visits to any of the 4 theme parks and 8 visits to any of the 2 water parks that you can use however you wish.

If you want to do a water park in the morning and MK at night, knock yourself out. If you want to skip the theme parks one day and just hit a water park that is fine as well.

Do you mean...

Day 1: Park
Day 2: Park
Day 3: Water Park
Day 4: Park
Day 5: Park
Day 6: Park
Day 7: Water Park
Day 8: Park
Day 9: Park
Day 10: Park

Yes.

You have 12 days to use an 8 day base ticket or hopper.

You have 13 days to use an 8 day Park Hopper Plus.

Thank you, so you are saying we could go to the water parks everyday if we wanted( we will not )and it would not count as a" PARK DAY " if we just went to a water park one day, it would not burn one of our 8 Amusement Park days? correct? Like Captain Americas grid shows.

From what I understand the Park Hopper Plus works more like "credits" like (think dining plan). So if you have 8-day tickets you have 8 credits for the plus activities, on top of your 8 theme park visits. So if you play golf one day, one credit is gone. If you enter the water park, one credit is gone and so forth. You have the 13 days to use your 8 park visits and 8 credits mixing and matching as you wish. There can be days where you go to a park and do another "plus" activity, solo park days or solo "plus" days.

This is how I learned it before the new date-specific tickets, I know that the new tickets have different rules, especially when it comes to expiration so idk if they also changed the way PHP works.

The water park option added to an 8 day park hopper adds 8 “credits” to your ticket, and an extra day to the length of validity to the overall ticket.

Those 8 credits can be used whenever you want during the 13 days. One credit is good for a water park or a round of mini golf. So you have 8 days of park entry, and 8 credits. If you go to a water park and mini golf on the same day, that’s two credits used. Unlike the park entries which are per day, no matter how many parks you hop to.
