Tiana's Bayou Adventure DVC Preview

We were unable to book for the preview because we didn't have a valid resort reservation. We did book a cash room at the Grand Floridian thru the WDW website. I called member services and they said I needed to call them directly to book a cash room and then it would have been valid. This is apparently new as of 2024. It really doesn't sound right. I haven't received any info regarding this. We also didn't receive any info directly for Disney (all info was from this board) regarding this preview so I may have missed it. I'm just confused because we recently attended moonlight magic at the AK and didn't have this problem.

The wording was a “reservation on your membership”.

This is one of 3 thongs
- a DVC resort stay booked on your own points
- a DVC resort stay booked through Member Services
- a stay at a non DVC resort booked using your points

And of course you have to be “eligible” ie DVC Y on your digital card. And had to have already booked by the time they announced the previews.

That has also been the criteria for MM this year.
