Went to the Thunder Over Georgia Air Show in Warner Robins at Robins AFB Saturday. It was a very warm day and not a cloud in the sky. Great performers and many interesting static displays as well. Long day, but worth it. Thought I would share a few photos. First, we had great seats right in front of the Thunderbirds.

My little point and shoot camera was not fast enough to take photos of the in flight formations...they all came out blurry. It was a good show and we always enjoy airshows. Next up for us is the Blue Angels in Pensacola in November. On the way home we stopped at a BBQ place in Macon and simply forgot all about calories and just pigged out. Besides what is pictured, the meals also came with salad bar and dessert (peach cobbler, banana pudding or ice cream). Since it was self-serve dessert bar, I tried a little of all three, ignoring the obvious sugar content.

Actually, @93boomer she stayed home. This was an all guy's trip, just me and my youngest brother. We had a good time and ate like fools.
He and his wife are going with us to Pensacola for the Blue Angels Air Show, so wives on that trip will make it even better. Thanks for looking at my pics.

There's nothing quite as exciting as an air show. And having seen the Thunderbirds in the past, I'd love to see their show again. They are so amazing--daring, and precise in their maneuvers. Thank you for sharing these pictures. It was a nice way to end my day here, after coming home from work! :) (P.S. to @donaldtoo -- check out this thread, my fellow aviation buddy!!)

Hahaaa...!
Thanks for the tag Minnie! :)
And, thanks for sharing @epcotisbest! :)
I love air shows too, but, unfortunately we haven't been to one in quite a spell. Need to remedy that...!

The last time I saw the Thunderbirds was back in the day when they were still flying T-38's. It was awesome!
We attended the last air show (not our last) with the kiddos, at our old Air Force base right before it closed and was transformed into our new international airport, about 2 decades ago.
We saw the F-117 stealth fighter (stanchioned off and an Airman armed with an M-16 at each corner), a C-5 Galaxy, a very cool C-130 JATO takeoff, an insane F-15 flying demonstration, etc.! :)

We've also seen some smaller shows with the Commerorative Air Force and such. I LOVE that stuff...!!!

Thanks again, to both of you...! :)

Check out the posture on these men!

The Jet Truck looks like something that would be featured in one of those truck show commercials that start out with some over-excited dude saying "Sunday! Sunday! Sunday!"

Shockwave has three jet engines and puts out 36,000 horsepower. It is a simply over the top spectacle of craziness. It's record is more than 370 mph, in a truck. You would not believe how loud it is. I wonder who thought it would be a good idea to put three jet engines in a truck, and more importantly, why?

Thank you, glad you enjoyed the pics. We have been airshow fans for a long time. Up until a few years ago, the Blue Angels demonstrated the JATO with their C-130 "Fat Albert," something we were always amazed by. Still enjoy seeing Fat Albert even though they don't demo the JATO anymore.
