The Hollywood Reporter says that the team of Ron Friedman and Steve Bencich has signed a writing deal with the Disney's feature animation division that encompasses both production and development services for the studio.
The scribes will develop David Weisner's best-selling children's book The Three Pigs and complete work on the project Bears.
"Pigs" mixes the classic story with a twist, as one by one the pigs are blown out of the fairy tale and set off on individual adventures attempting to get back into their story.
