Threads help

This only happens in threads which i created in the trivia section but the thread will be marked as if there is a new post inside of it which i haven't read but when i open the thread and look over all of the messages and go back to the section where the thread is at, it will still be marked as if there are new messages in the thread which i haven't read when there aren't any new messages. Just wondering about this, thanks.

Are you clicking a link to go back, or using the browsers back button?

If you use the back button it tends to get the page from memory/cache, so the gif wouldn't be updated. If you click on a link, it should readjust the picture you see(although it's not flawless, sometimes clicking on "Mark Forum Read" helps)

I'm clicking the link to go back and not just hitting the back button. I'll try clicking the 'Mark Forum Read' button as well tho, thanks.

I'm using IE version 6.0.29 and my OS is Windows XP home edition

Try doing a LOG OUT (top right corner of the forum). Restart your PC, then log back in again.

Just click the "Refresh" button on your Internet browser...

Just as an update: i logged out and restarted my computer and that seems to have fixed the problem.
