Thoughts on IASW refurb?

so, I first hear they're going to add characters to it like they did in HK. that I didn't see as a big deal. I watched a video of HK's SW ride and didn't even notice the characters right away. But now i'm hearing a rumor about them removing a rainforest scene and replacing it with an america scene. now, i've never even BEEN on Disneyland's version but think that's not such a good idea Mind you, I also don't know if this rumor is true. It could be right up there with Tomorrowland getting themed to Wall-E as far as we know but is there any truth to this?

Very touchy subject on DLR based boards. I havent been following it very much though since so many of them ran way way out of control. haha

What I think I remember is that the characters are happening and the rain forest is staying. But there hasn't been any offical press releases from Disney other than a few interviews that are on Laughingplace.com with WDI. But IDK whats going on now since for the time being everyone seemed to shut up about it. lol

Anyways on another note word has it the water will return to the flume by the end of the month.

Agreed. People like to make big somethings out of nothing, like a comic I did where this guy complains about a lightbulb getting changed on Main. St because "It was a classic" :lol:
