The Hollywood Reporter completely misunderstood the post. It's not an attraction - it's a meet-n-greet location for a Thor face character.

This belongs in the Disneyland section since Marvel can't appear in WDW, but...
To be fair, the Hollywood Reporter calls it a "special exhibit" in the article. They never use the word "attraction" in their actual article, but reference an "exhibit" twice.

Things have likely changed since I was in journalism decades ago, but it was common practice for a reporter to write and file a story, but a lower level copy clerk would then create the headline for that story for print. Not sure if that's still practice in this century, and/or with online digital "newspapers".

What has me as a Scandinavian-American stumped (and I know my Norwegian aquavit from my Swedish aquavit, and can build an Ikea bookshelf blindfolded with one hand tied behind my back) is where in Disneyland Thor would mesh thematically??? The only thing I can think of is in the Small World Mall in the little grassy nook where they shoved, er, placed Merida and her robotic bears and Scottish Highland games last year.

Maybe they can create a little nook of Scandinavia there and shove, er, place Thor in that little grassy corner of Fantasyland?

No wonder Bob Iger wants a separate theme park in Anaheim for the Marvel franchises. They don't really fit anywhere in the existing theme parks.

It's not an attraction. Disney is adding a Thor meet and greet it will probaby either be in Fantasyland or Hollywood Pictures backlot or they will do a special area near the castle like they did for the temporary pixie hollow meet and greet

Fantasyland was originally quite the Germanic / North European land. Even the CMs were mostly blond North European. Thor the blond aryan dreamboy would've fit right in!
Except maybe that this Thor is a superhero, instead of the bodybuilder of Norse mythology.

I wish - on my 'yeah dream on' wishlist - that DL and WDW would open a third and fifth gate to put all those Marvel, Pixar, teddybear, Sparrow, and princess franchises, instead of them ruining the existing parks.
