This Weekend

Hey all once again, I will be making my monthly trip to the World this weekend, the 7th and the 8th. I will first go to AK Saturday morning, and then after that it's off to the Magic Kingdom. Sunday, well, that's another story.

CHEERLEADERS!

That's right, the National High School Cheerleading Championship is this coming weekend, and it's also being held at the Wide World of Sports AND the Studios. Uh-oh. I was planning on hitting the Studios Sunday, but if they've got some big crowds and i'll have to wait an hour for Tower, then i'll just head over to Epcot. Anyone know if the competition will affect crowds? Thanks for your help!

Avoid the Studios on Saturday.

Looks like they won't be having Indy Jones all day Saturday, which will be a bummer to first time guests of the Studios. They could have done this somewhere else.

Anyways, yes, i've been to the Varsity site, but couldn't find the schedule. Thanks for posting that Gaston, the Studios is cleared on Sunday for me!

I have been to the parks when the cheerleader comps are taking place. It doesn't seem to bad early on, but as I remember, as the day progresses and teams are eliminated or are finished, the lines get longer.

3 yeas ago, I was at IOA when a competition was held there. It was the second weekend in March and we walked up and got on everything until about 3, when the contestants in their uniforms started filling the lines.

Just thought I'd share. The lines didn't get too bad, maybe 25 minute wait for Spiderman at the most!
