This officially freaks me out

Not sure where to post this, but this is the newest vinylmation creation, "Meet and Greet Mickey". The colors and hands make me think of a serial killer hiding inside a Mickey Mouse suit.

This was posted in the blog and it makes sense
"You guys are missing the point. The reason for the “human-like” hands/gloves is because this is reminiscent of a person *dressed* like Mickey walking around the park, interacting with guests. Thus the name “Meet & Greet Mickey”. It’s not suppose to be a representation of the actual character."

The green color makes no sense to me

This is modeled after the old 60s style Mickey Mouse costume that had the actor wearing normal white gloves.

OK so the point is for Mickey not to resemble Mickey or a vinylmation? That convoluted marketing will be lost on most. Appearances are similar to fake knock offs without licensing coming in from overseas and stocked in roadside discount stands.

As a big vinyl collector - i just don't know what to think. I don't mind the appearance, i just don't get it.
