Although we can’t well receive the characters entering the park in all this place is going to be beautiful and now all we can ask for is that they do Spaceships earth right a possibly a return of dreamfinder. And we have a Fountain of Nations. I hope cutbacks lead them to reusing the current one with repairs. I wouldn’t be opposed to seeing them remove the American gardens stage and showing what they did in the concept art but I’m pretty sure that’s an old image.

In the past weve seen a lot of the concept art that looked great but never came about. If only we could get an EP that was so pristine and welcoming. And I noticed there were no signs of obnoxious over imbibed guests or massive groups of scooters pushing their way through unruly crowds. Guess the future is looking promising.

Clearly, Disney's conceptual art has always over-estimated the sense of style, physical attractiveness and health of its future guests.
Don’t forget the creepy smiles. People, even when they’re happy and having a good time, don’t walk around with a Jack-o’-lantern sized smile on their face.

The women in blue and purple soaring through the air....looks like there's an anti-gravity pod, too. That should be a fun upcharge!

I'm actually impressed with whats coming to Epcot. It's been awhile since I could say "well done Disney I'm excited for the future" regarding one of their parks.

Yeah I've honestly never seen so much false advertising as I see from Disney. They are actually masters of it. In every commercial Mickey is picking people up spinning them around and Cinderella is following you through the park riding every ride with you. The 7 Dwarfs are tucking you in at night. You and your family are literally the only people in the park. The scorching heat actually makes your children happy and not even a LITTLE tired all day. You walk on every ride from start to finish. It's purely magical. LOL! I've always said if I were Universal and wanted to advertise I'd literally go to Disneyworld and take videos of the bus lines, bus rides, lines to get in the park, lines to get on the rides, lines to get out of the park, lines to get back on the bus, crying kids, complaining adults, and then I'd simply say "Universal. Instead." LOL! In spite of all those things I will still always love Disneyworld and can't imagine not going there. It's just that you have to always have realistic expectations and pay no mind to the advertising. All advertising is always like that though.

Universal is not substantially better, though, in any of those aspects.

My thought was that they cannot keep up with (or ahead of) the rapid technology changes these days and decided to take another route. Make sense?

Oh I agree and I have no desire to ever go there but I'm just saying if I was them I'd use the "reality" of Disneyworld to help myself. Pretty much all of us have a different perception of "reality" when it comes to Disneyworld vs what ACTUALLY happens.
