Heya pals! So we are planning on a trip on the Wonder, we are going to fly from Austin to Ft. Lauderdale so we can fly southwest, take a shuttle to the Miami port (has anyone done that) and take the trip on the ship (SOOOOO EXCITED) Any hoo, has anyone taken the drive from Miami to Orlando, I know its a little over 3 hours for a drive, but I really want to see our 'home' before coming back to Texas.
TIA

Just last week, I did the drive directly from the Port of Miami to Orlando. Depending upon how fast you go, a little over 3 hours is a reasonable estimate. For what its worth, if you are trying to time everything exactly, we could have gotten off the ship as early as 7:30 am (we didn't, but could have).

FLL to the Port of Miami is about 45 minutes or so, perhaps longer if traffic in Miami is bad.

We had a great time on the cruise and you will too -- which itinerary are you doing?

The Disney Wonder, itenirary A, April 12-17, my concern - being such a worry wart - is not being able to get a flight early enough to FLL and get to the terminal before the ship leaves. Thanks for answering so quick, I know we have plenty of time to get it all sorted out, just needing some guidance

We just came off of Itinerary A on the Wonder (Leave Miami, Sea, Cozumel, Sea, Castaway Cay, Back to Miami), if I recall correctly. At some point, when I have a free moment or two, I can send you the personal Navigators from the cruise if you like.
