Thinking of a visit in November

Hi

We visited form the Uk last November and saw hogsmeade and rode the harry potter ride on IOA, and was amazed by it

We are visiting again this November and stopping on Disney and was considering visiting universal for a day again to see diagon alley and ride gringots.

After looking at the ride video it seems like it is very similar to spiderman and transformers ride? maybe I am wrong

But on trying to decide and anyone that's experienced the new part of harry potter, can you convince me to spend $300 or over £200 to go back just for 1 day as this seems a lot of money for one day to do both parks!

Many thanks for your help!

I haven't rode EFG, we were there in the summer and the wait was horrendous. I will say DA is incredible and I would pay a day's admission just to experience it :) Beedle the Bard puppet show was beautiful as was the ENTIRE land. November isn't really "busy" (unless it is Thanksgiving weekend) so you will get more for your money. And chances are, it will still be quite warm (we didn't really have a "winter" last year :( )

@SIMONRTAYLOR DO IT! The ride system is completely different than TF and SM, but may not seem as thrilling. The waits for EFG have dropped considerably as they have added more RVs. I could spend all day in Diagon Alley and feel I got my monies worth. Being from the UK you might have a little mental gymnastics due to locations that are far apart right next to each other and I've heard Kings Cross is pretty realistic as well.

Thank you for the reply - you sound like you love it - and wife really loves the Harry potter films - we can get to universal quite easily using mears transport from Disney for about $20 dollars each return

And if the tide times have dropped
I am sure we can do both parks again in one day

I will add my voice here, if your wife is a HP fan you have to see what they created, it is amazing! Worth every penny for the tickets and transport but you better pack a little extra for all the special merch you will find in the alley. After all it IS where wizards go to shop.

Ride wait times are down on EFG, the HE is a ride not to be missed and the details of the land will seem very familiar to you.
