Thinking about working at WDW!

I've been thinking more & more about trying to work at Disney. But the only thing I'd want to do, would be to be in a show. Because I enjoy being on stage, and I'm pretty good at it. For the past two days, we've been working with this guy, Shawn Eck, for Show Choir. He's our prof. choreographer. And he used to work for Disney. He made up dances for shows, parades and was a performer in the Lion King show at AK. And he said that the show that we are doing this year, is kind of like what some one would do at Disney. We're doing a lot of dance moves that performers at Disney would do. And I enjoy it a lot! I was just wondering if anyone knows what all you have to do to become a dancer for Disney? Like, is it hard to get into the performing section?

Hello Human Resoures Departmen.

Well do you have a resume and employment letter?

Can we look at it here in the forum and give you a suggestion so you can post it on your next reply?

A job is nothing but work even though you like doing what you think you hate.

Forget about working at WDW (although that would be pretty cool)! I would just rather move right into the castle!:D

Follow your dreams and they will come true! Good luck with your Disney quest!

If your director worked for Disney, he probably still knows people down there, it is much easier to get in if you know someone in entertainment. Ask him if he knows any Entertainment managers. I know some, if you have the refs and are good, i could hook you up. wheeola21....aol im

RESUME

Well you need a well-written resume.

An incredible resume will open many doors.

Would you a resume because they want to see that first. Just checked with the Human Resources department.

Also a head shot or picture professionally done for stage performances.

Having an agent is also a good idea.

If you have a resume post it here in the chat room as a file attachment or Jpg image, I guess and let us see it.

We can give you great advice-I am telling you.

I would also love to work at Disney World as a dancer...or on the Disney cruise lines or sumthing...I have tons of dance/choreographing experience but I live soo far away. I'd probably miss my family/friends way too much!!
