OK as my first post showed, I'm a happy person when I'm at Disney and there's sadness when I'm not there. Not saying that I'm an unhappy person when I'm not there, but you get my point.

So to feel close to WDW, I look at my pictures constantly, I have Walt Disney World as one of the saved locations on my Weather Channel app on my iPhone, I encourage my son to watch Phineas and Pherb, Kickin' It and Lab Rats because that's what he watched when we were back at the hotel relaxing...

So what do you do to make you feel closer to close that gap in your heart?

I bought a bunch of bath bombs/fizzies at Lush (in MCO, third floor if youre interested) and since there's a local one here... I bought a few that I had used in WDW. I keep them in baggies in the bedroom, bathroom... aaaand there's a small one at work. A quick pick me up? Shove nose into baggie, and look like a crackhead sniffing a bath bomb. But hey, the scents remind me of my trip :) It helps!

I also have The Lion King on Broadway on my ipod and a few movies on my ipad in case of emergency.

Disney movies and Disney channel, especially Disney Jr. We still love it ( and my boys are 8, almost 9). I say keep em young, and be a kid @ heart ( me).;)

I buy products that are Disney official sponsors. Brawny paper towels, Coca Cola, Dixie, Hanes, etc. This makes me feel like I am there and seeing the "Presented By" signs

Listen to Disney cd's, watch Disney DVD's, watch Disney park/resort spots on t.v., take out my pin books and look over my collection, step into my Disney room and look at all the things I've got on display. Wait eagerly for my next issue of Celebrations magazine. Return to this site and many others, any time I am sitting at my computer. Then I'll strike up a conversation with anyone who even mentions the smallest hint about a Disney park, trip, cruise, character, meal etc. Oh... and keep reminding my wife constantly about all the great times we've had and why we need to go back.

What I do is I listen to Reedy Creek Radio, MouseWorld Radio and Subsonic, and look at my past photos and videos.

I even made a Youtube playlist that covers attractions and areas from Disney Theme Parks around the world, starting in DLR, then heading west to TDL, SDL, HKDR, then DLRP, and then finally, my home base in WDW.

In addition to what's been mentioned, VIDEO GAMES! My particular one I go to is the Kingdom Hearts franchise, but there have been many great Disney games over the years (with some of the old school ones being available to play for free online), including Ducktales, Aladdin, and Mickey's Magical Quest.

We visit our local Disney Store every chance we get. Just walking in and hearing the music or seeing the clips on TV...all the sparkly princess dresses...and just escaping the real world of the mall...it's a taste of home.

Speaking of home, our house is just covered in Disney. Suncatchers, artwork, 'life-size' Lumiere and Cogsworth...it always keeps the fire burning.

For us, its the little things that not are not normal tourist attractions. Its behind the scenes things, or things Cast Members shared.
