I am sure she had been brain washed by those two, and I am sure she became emotionally attached to them, they were her only source of survival. It is strange when kids get into those situations, the truly become attached. I am sure that they have brainwashed her, and if we could have heard what she told those police, we could all easily tell, too. I bet she is elated to be at home, but she will always have a strange, psychotic attachment to her kidnappers. She will need alot of therapy, because 9 months was a long time. Poor thing, I hope those two fry, I am so glad she is home safe.

Read that the guy's stepdaughter said he was good at brainwashing...tried it with her, too. Also she was held in the mountains behind her house and actually heard her uncle calling out for her, but couldn't get away... Saw all the ribbons tied around town and didn't realize they were for her. When questioned by police she said the couple were her parents. She only got the nerve to say something as they were walking away and the kidnappers were distracted. I'm glad her family isn't pushing too hard for details...it's going to take awhile for her to get back to normal...if ever.
