What restaurant has the best theme to it? I am going in 18 days for 7 nights at the poly and just wanted some suggestions on some restaurants to eat at?

The 50's prime time cafe (look for jay-rod with his arms on the table)
The Sci-Fi Drive In
Any restuarant in World Showcase (Mexico is my favorite)

I'll have to agree with DisneyFreak for the Sci-Fi Drive-In Restaurant. But I think the best themed restaurant is Rainforest Cafe (although it isn't a Disney-owned restaurant). I am fortunate enough to have a Rainforest Cafe where I live (at the Palisades Center mall... which is in the same county where I live) and I am able to enjoy it any time of the year. Although no matter what RC you've been to... Disney's are the biggest and most elaborately themed.

I think I'd actually have to agree there. The Sci-Fi theming is really great. But the Rainforest Cafe is very cool too - I especially like the one at Downtown Disney. I guess it all depends on what you're in the mood for. :)

I agree with the Rainforest Cafe( by the way WDW-Imagineer) the one at the Palisades mall don't seem as nice compared to the ones at WDW)

I went to a Rainforest Cafe in London in the Spring and it was not anywhere as good as the one at the AK. I guess it must soak up some of the Disney magic.

I like Akershus (Epcot's Norway) because of its unique menu. I mean where else can you find rutabaga on a buffet? Even though you can find Mexican restaurants nearly everywhere, the one in Epcot is shoulders and sombrero above the rest.:p

We ate at 50's Prime Time for the first time a few weeks ago. We had read bad reports that the food was not very good. Well, don't believe everything you read, the food was very good and the milk shakes are awesome. Try the P & J milkshake, (I know peanut butter & jelly sounds awful but it was really delicious). Uncle Dale was our server and he was funny. He added to our wonderful meal. Make sure you eat all your food or you might be fed your last spoonful.

O'Hana's at the Poly is also really good if you enjoy shrimp, steak, and pork cooked on an open grill.

We have probably eaten at almost all restaurants in the parks and a few at resorts. We have not ever had a bad meal at any restaurant, so whatever you choice will be good. Have a magical time!!!!!!

That's nothing. Last year a group of us went down to WDW and our first night went and ate at Primetime. My sister and I didn't eat our vegetables and our server (cousin Dave) made us stand up and sing "I'm a little teapot" (with the motions) in front of everyone in our area of the restaurant. Talk about embarassing. :p
