Themed Clothing?

I'm planning my first trip to Disney in September, and I'm incredibly excited. So much so that I found a wonderful themed dress that I would like to buy here. I know Disney is pretty strict with what constitutes a costume for adults, but I'm not quite sure this would count. Looking at the costume guidelines, it looks like it's fine as it's short and isn't layered, just screen printed. I'd be wearing it with tennis shoes, so definitely nothing that would confuse other guests. Do you think I'd be ok wearing it on a day in the parks? TIA!

I think it looks fine. DW has worn dresses that have Disney prints on them and I've seen many other women wearing things more Disneyish that that. I wouldnt think it would make guests confuse you with a park character.

Poly/spandex... have you considered how well this item will wick away sw... moisture? September will not be cool.

I think the only real concern they have is that you don't make an attempt to look like a character. People get confused and think you are actually one of the characters and try to get autographs, etc. They also cannot control your behavior while in that costume so it's a major no-no! You can wear anything that addresses the parks themselves and not characters otherwise they wouldn't be able to sell t-shirts.

It'll be great! My friend and I like "Disneybounding" (I don't know if that's a thing anymore) where you take colors, designs, aspects of a character and apply them to a more conventional outfit. We went as Bernard and Bianca last time. Unfortunately, a lot of people thought I was a Newsie and my friend was a fortune teller...

so great! I wanted to dress up as Bianca and Bernard last year at Hallowe'en but my husband wasn't into it, and I came up with the idea at the last minute. If you feel comfortable sharing pics I'd love to see how you did it.
