So, now we know that the Country Bears was a bust, what do you think the Haunted Mansion is going to do?

Before Country Bears, I thought Haunted Mansion would do better, now I think it will do a lot better, but that could change when I see the previews. However the early reports on Haunted Mansion do sound like the movie will appeal to a larger audience. With Murphy, it could be make it or break it. It also depends on how many recognisible icons are in the movie. In the Bears movie, they didn't even look like the Bears from the show.

from what i've read, don't expect ballroom dancing ghosts, ghosts playing musical instruments in a cemetary or singing busts. DO expect, objects flying around the room, turning up missing, etc. the uh, physical not visual ghosts. so much for icons.

I heard the Haunted Masion and Pirates of the Carribean are big budget films.
