theme park restraunt closing times?

if the magic kindom closes at 8:00 how late can you get a seating at lets say the liberty tree inn character dinner? if you do get a reservation at a park near closing time will they rush you or will the characters leave early to detir straglers

Liberty Tree? You will have to get reservations much earlier than which you plan on eating....I always go for lunch - when the character's aren't there, and I have to get reservations to eat 30 minutes before I do, however, I am not sure about supper...

So I would (if it is even open) get reservations at 6:30, eat at 7:00, and then be done with dinner at about 7:45...that's only a guess. Depends also on the time of year, the hours of the restaurant, and how long it takes y'all to eat...

see we're going to disney in dec. when the parks close around 6-7. , we want to eat at the castle and the liberty tree character dinner , but don't want to lose too much time so we'd like too see how late we could eat dinner at the parks and still enjoy it

I talked to my travel agent and a couple Disney people about this as I was booked a 7pm meal with a 6:30 park closing. Restaurants stay open longer as it takes hours to get the people out of the parks.
