The theme park resort that I am currently working on is called Worlds of Discovery. It would have four theme parks, two water parks, and three hotels. The four theme parks would be: Mythology Gardens, Jungle Grove, Pioneer Village, and Future World. The two water parks would be Castle Cascades and Dino Falls. Last but not least, the three hotels would be the Seven Seas Inn, the Twin Pines Lodge, and the Hawaiian Beach Resort. Four or Five years after the park opening, we would possibly add a dining, entertainment, and shopping area called Pier 62. There will also be two lakes on the property. They will both be used to boating, jetskis, etc. They will be Dixie Harbor and Tropic Bay. The Twin Pines Lodge will be located just off the shores of Dixie Harbor and the Hawaiian Beach Resort would be located on islands throughout Tropic Bay. I will post some art and more about it later!:sohappy:

okay. I noticed that 22 people have viewed this thread, and none have responded. Maybe if I post some more information, more people will respond. I am going to try and keep this post orderly. I will post information about one theme park at a time. Then I will post information about each hotel (one at a time). Then the water parks, and finally, the Pier 62. By the way, right now, this is NOT designed to be a Disney park... although, with a few changes, it could easily become a Magic Kingdom, Disney Hotel Resorts, water parks, and a Downtown Disney. The first park that I am going to start with will be Mythology Gardens. It will be themed to ancient Greek, Egyptian, Australasian, and Japanese myths and legends. Each civilization will have a different section in the park. There will be rides, shows, walkthroughs, etc. for many of that civilizations myths. The names of the five sections will be: Gardens of Time (entrance plaza), The Glories of Greece, Egypt's Divine Kingship, The Unseen Worlds of Australasia, and Japan's Realm of the Rising Sun. The Glories of Greece section will have a huge mountain in the middle, known as Mount Olympus. There will also be a huge theater that looks like an Olympic Stadium. There would also be recreations of the Parthanon and other famous Greek Landmarks. Egypt's Divine Kingship would have a recreation of the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphynx. The Unseen Worlds of Australasia would be themed to New Zealand, Australia, and the islands around Austrailia. There would be a huge boomerang as the center piece. There would also be AA sheep scattered throughout the area. Japan's Realm of the Rising Sun would, obviously, be themed to Japanese Myths. Therefore, there would, as the center piece, be a five story Pagoda tower, just like in World Showcase, where each story stands for a different thing. Wind, Fire, Water, Air, and Earth I think they are. I will post the rides, attractions, restaurants, shops, etc. later.

If I take out the boomerang, then what should I use? I could do a huge *Eucaliptus* Tree and have some Koalas in it and some other Austrailian animals around it. Does that sound good?

How about a large cliff with aborigine carvings or something like that might work better, I don’t know best thing I can think of Australia does have mountains.

I am making a version of this on RCT2, and there is no large cliff, but there is the Eucalyptus tree with Koalas so I am going to stick with that. I am also changing this park a little bit. Here are the changes:
1. The sections are now:
a. Gardens of Time (Entrance Plaza)
b. Greece
c. Oceanica (Austrailasia)
d. Kingdom of Gold (South and Central America)
e. Realm of the Rising Sun (Japan)
2. This isn't really a change, it is just an informaty! The park is NOT an education and information park on Mythology... it is just a park with rides based on the myths and legends. Some of the dark rides will tell the story such as THE TROJAN HORSE in Greece. It will tell the story of the Trojan horse through AA's, narrations, and giant Storybook pages. One of the rides in Oceanica is based on the Aboriginie story of the Boomerang and the Sun it is just a Boomerang AirLaunch Coaster called BOOMERANG. It doesn't really have any scenery to go with the story. The only scenery are the two HUGE boomerangs at the entrance.

If anyone can come up with a better name for any of these sections (especially Greece) please let me know! Thanks!!!:D

There is also another major mythology group you may have missed and that is Norse mythology of the Vikings and Norse people. Just another idea that may help. :)

Just be careful of what I call the Paramount trap, Paramount parks have a nice glaze of quasi-theming in their parks and too their coasters but they lack any real storyline. Just remember that objects in your land need to fit the theme of your land, would you expect to find two giant boomerangs walking along the Australian outback?

I will post some screenshots later. I am not working on it right now because I have a few other things that are a lil more important. I will post them later on.
