This probably isn't what you are thinking...but it is almost as good. For anyone who has Optimum Online's Digital Cable, there is now a WDW Resort Channel. It shows off different things to help you plan a vacation. It is on channel 650.

I watched it. Seems like a snippet of the vacation planning video. Now, if Disney created a WDW Vacations channel and ran it like Resort TV, with a top ten things to do at Walt Disney World (with Kryssa as host :slurp: ), and videos of the theme parks, maybe an hour long each, and then another hour long video showcasing everything else to do in the World, then I'd be a lot more excited.

But, this does satisfy those Disney urges.

Well as you can see, Orlando has Bright House Networks Cable.
That's the cable that works on Orlando, Kissimmie, and Titusville, and Cocoa Beach.
Some hotels nowadays carry WDW Resort TV.

That would be nice, even if it was on just for a bit of time a week. Unfortunatly we are stuck with Comcast in the FL panhandle.

Yep, I made the post about this last week. It's nothing amazing, but just having the ability to turn it on when your really bored and can't find anything good on is awesome!

I also have Dish Network, and am currently not too pleased with the Disney Channel and its lack of "Disney" stuff... :lookaroun

I would pay to watch a channel that focuses only on the parks... But I also have the advantage of having the original WDW Resort TV loop on VHS :D

I've been thinking of doing an online version kinda.. with videos of ride-throughs.. etc... anyone interested?

Yeah that would be nice.
A channel with only park stuff would be awesome since i like to watch it at the resorts but the reason they probably don't is a lack of material. a lot of people wouldn't watch the same thing over and over and over. But i would!!!:-)

I can understand the lack of material. And that is probably why they do not have a channel such as this. However, they can set it up the way this WDW Vacations channel is set up. You select which video you want to watch. They do not have to have it run as a loop such as Resort TV.

I know I wouldn't get sick of watching a continuous loop.
