Does anyone else remember this movie? It scared the pants off me as a child. Has it ever been on Disney +? I can't find the original (1980) movie streaming anywhere.
What about Something Wicked This Way Comes? We own that, but was it ever on Disney +?

They need to beef up their Halloween selections. 😄

I do agree that Disney needs more of a bigger horror catalog, but sadly unless they move that stuff over from Hulu, you wont get much.

I do not believe either have been on D+. But someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

The Watcher in the Woods can be found on YouTube. Both WitW and Something Wicked This Way Comes are Disney Movie Club exclusives.

I'm not sure why they aren't on Disney Plus. Both are PG and there are scarier and more mature films already on the service (not to mention R rated movies like Deadpool). Maybe Disney simply forgot these films existed? They are pretty obscure.

As noted above. They're two of my most wanted on the service but have never shown up. Yet another reason I expect to cancel when my subscription is up. I signed up with the service for new Marvel stuff (which is now getting postponed and spread out) and older vault stuff which never showed up.

Loki season 2 is coming pretty soon, that is worth staying subscribed for....

I don’t get it. There are tons of movies like this that aren’t on Disney plus. I would love to see something wicked this way comes or watcher in the woods on Disney plus.

Some disney movies just disappear forever. I saw the last flight of Noah’s ark when I was about 5 but I don’t think its ever been on TV or Disney plus here in the UK. I’ve never seen the happiest millionaire any at all. Then there are the later movies like dick tracy, touch guys, arachnophobia etc Tons of content just sitting in a vault somewhere

It might be a rights issue or some other legal item that prevents it. You don't see the classic universal monster movies on Peacock for some reason either. You would think they would be permanent access there. Just because Disney produced it doesn't mean they can do anything with it. When was the last time they were released to DVD? If they released it, would it get enough views to make it worth it?
