OH! MY! GOD! I! HATE! THAT! THING!!!!! I rode it with stitchrocks and jaylenofan and lemme tell you something, I could not believe how sick that thing made me. Almost worse than Mission Space. Whatever you do, do not get the car that moves on tracks. I'm turning green thinking about it. :hurl:

oh yeah, thanks for the warning now... LOL!... i got in a car on tracks... it was HORRIBLE... some people were just sitting still, and enjoying the scenery... i on the other hand was PRAYING for this thing to come to an end. it was the most sickening attraction i've ever been on. This thing doesn't come close to RockNRoller, TOT or ANYTHING i've ever been on!! :hurl: :hurl: :hurl:

The Sun Wheel is not even worth going on. It's just pretty to look at. When I went on in December 03 all I got is one single rotation and then it stopped. It scared the crap of me when our cart moved too. It's a waste of space, I say! Here Here!

some people (sickos) seemed to enjoy it... like i said... (sickos)... haha... but something about the ride itself made me physically ILL!

I actually enjoyed the Sun Wheel, and had no problems. ToT actually made me lightheaded for a minute or so. I wouldn't wait more than 15-20 minutes for The Sun Wheel though.

OMG... don't remind me! But i can tell you... i'm not afraid to ride it when my friend, Will, is in the thing... he's scared enough for all of us and we're too busy laughing at him scream.
oh yeah one trick is to sit in the car facing out... as in don't sit forward (as in looking at the person in front of u) just take up the whole seat and sit facing the doors... it's not that bad if you do that.

The Sun Wheel doesn't make me sick, but it does scare me a bit. The first time I rode it, my friend was on the phone with her mother. As soon as the cart started rolling we screamed and her mom heard us. She thought something was happening to us...the poor thing was more frightened than us.

I'm not afraid of it, but yes, the moving cars make me sick too. Stationary ones for me from now on!
STATIONARY CARS?!????! You mean I didn't HAVE to ride in one of the swinging death buckets? I wish I had figured that out BEFORE! Once it was over, I guess I could say it was "thrilling"...not necessarily in a GOOD way! I tend to laugh when I get scared. My husband was video'ing the ride and you can hear me hysterically laughing/crying in the back ground the whole time. OF COURSE, he and my son thought it was funny to rock it even more so I would shriek. I was hoarse the rest of the day.

Well, I was looking forward to riding the moving cars because I love thrill rides. It will be our first DLR trip, and I want to give it a try, but some of these posts may make me change my mind. Aw, what the heck. This may be our only trip to DLR and I have never had problems with RnR, ToT or M:S, so here goes!

22 days to go

Thrill rides, not that the Sun Wheel could be categorized as a thrill ride, don't normally affect me, and I was expecting a nice leisurely spin around the wheel. I should have paid more attention to the blood curdling screams coming from above me.

I remember when I went with Kirsten and Adam. They were both crying and screamng for their lives. I, the calm and collected one, had to reassure them that it was going to be ok. :D :lookaroun

I asked my sister what she thought about this as well, and she agreed it was the scariest ride she'd ever been on! Now I'm intrigued...
