The Small Details in Holiday Decor

Sometimes I stop and look at the Christmas decor in greater depth, and I’m always amazed at the small details they add in the ribbon choice and ornaments that they use. For instance, since Gaston uses antlers in all of his decorating, all of the garland and wreaths have antlers in them near Gaston’s Tavern!

What is your favorite detail in the holiday decor?

I love the way Disney decorates the Christmas trees differently for each park and resort. Each is unique and holds ornaments and decorations that tie that tree to its spot. You can look for a long time to spot the many special decorations that set them apart.
We did a tour years ago that included a walk though the warehouse where the trees and decorations are kept and worked on. It was amazing how Dis has each and every decoration and tree labeled, coded, mapped out so they know where each piece will be placed. They are working on the decorations constantly to keep them fresh and in repair for our enjoyment.

Hopefully these come back this year, been MIA since Covid, but Le Cellier’s decorations featured ribbons with maple leaves as well as ornaments with hand painted maple leaves on them.
