The Simpsons Does It Again!

Since this was a repeat episode, this may have already been mentioned. If so, please forgive me for repeating. There were two Disney references on The Simpsons tonight.

--> While looking through pictures taken with his mother, Homer is shown flashing his at the camera while riding what looks like a Splash Mountain vehicle. If memory serves, chicks do that sometimes on Splash Mountain.

--> While driving his mother away from the police, Homer tells her he's going to take her where no one is around for miles. Disney's California Adventure!

One of the best quotes was when the Simpsons were walking through a prison. (I think it is the epidode where Grimey's son is trying to kill Homer)

Marge says something like "This is no place for children"
Lisa responds "It is still better than Disney's California Adventure"

My favorite is still the Teacher of the Year Awards in EFCOT.

Also the IASW like ride...

"Duff Beer for me, Duff Beer for you, you have a Duff, I have one too".
All the pretty dolls... :dazzle:

That one is a classic. I still remember the names of the seven duffs (well 4 actually) Surly, Tipsy, Queasy & Remorseful  .
Remorseful is my favorite duff  .

I know a teacher that has an actual Simpsons class. The school offers it as a social studies elective. He tapes shows, or the students do, and then they discuss the sociologic aspects of the series.

Sounds like some members would do well in that class.

I LOVE The Simpsons when they make fun of WDW! Especailly when the principal and the teacher are on a deck of a hotel, looking at World Showcase is in the background! :hammer: :hammer:   But then, I do sometimes watch The Simpsons for the heck of it... :lookaroun
