The Seas with Nemo and Friends

In the scene where you are moving through the tunnel with Crush and the turtles, on the floor there are pieces of glass where the same thing that's on the screen is also playing. Is that just the place where the projector is stored? If so, what does the glass do?

My guess is that it's a clear cover to shield the camera bulb from any possible damage.

Also, Iwouldn't be surprised if under the glass is a mirror, with the projector mounted horizontally under the floor.

Yep that's where the projectors are. The glass just protects it because this area is also used as a walkway for evacuations and ride maintenence/cleaning. The projectors are in fact facing up. There is a tunnel under this whole area that is about 5' deep.
