My family and I are planning a trip for Sept 11 to the 18th. With the rise of cases, and California and other big cities rumor to bring back mask mandate's. What will Disney World do? I ask for planning purposes, and it's hard to plan when changes and data are so fluid right now. Everything changes everyday, with the new variant too. I'm in the process of collecting information and trying to make a decision for our future trip.

My stance is this "prepare for the worst, be happy if it doesn't turn out that way".
Who knows what it will be in September so I'd simply bring enough disposable mask for everyone.
The worst case scenario is possibly an indoor mask mandate
I doubt it but hey Disney decides to implement it you'll be ready.
I fly so we always have mask for the airplane anyway.

It seems unlikely (fortunately) that Disney will reintroduce any masks or other mandates. We brought some along on our trip two weeks ago just to be safe in crowded spaces indoors. We are cruising soon and don't want to risk testing negative before our departure

i agree with eliza61nyc. who knows what the situation will be by the time u go on your trip. we’re going in november, but keeping an eye on the situation as we get closer to our trip. if it makes u feel safer & comfortable, it doesn’t hurt to bring some masks with u. that’s what we plan on doing.

Given the climate so to speak in Florida, I think masks there will be less likely to return. Though we always bring stuff just in case, and fly with masks still. So be prepared either way. September is a long way off and things can change in that time too.
Sorry, sorry, everyone, I didn't realize the old thread was close. I was looking for it this morning and couldn't locate it. Maybe I didn't have enough coffee this morning prior to posting?
