The REAL Tow-Mater

Please allow me to introduce to all of you the real Tow-Mater. Yes, this is the actual tow-truck, in Galena, Kansas along historic route 66, that inspired the character Tow-Mater in Pixar's movie Cars. Since the movie came out they have added to the truck to make it look like the character.

As I understand it, it's the old International boom truck on the right that was the inspiration for Tow-Mater. The truck on the left is just a Tow-Mater replica.
