one of these plates is a kids meal that comes with grapes and a small bottle of water for $5.99 the other is an adult veggie burger (which apparently was really bad) that comes with just fries for $9.99.

I don't see the value, do you?

I always found the prices ridiculous. You are better off buying the kids meal version. How ever it depends on the quick service stop. As for quality of the meat and other food, I'd rather leave to perhaps EPCOT go to the Sunshine Seasons and order. For the price it's worth it and probably the best tasting quick service dining option.

I always have my girls split a meal at QS locations. They're picky eaters to begin with and the portions are enormous. It's a waste of our dining credits to have them each get their own meal. Works for us anyway!

Yeah, if you just do burger and fries, that might be accurate. However, there is so much variety at QS spots, why on earth would you settle for something you can easily get at numerous places at home. Unless, of course, you're visiting from abroad and hamburgers and fries are new and exciting to you, and even then... Heck, you probably saw at least five spots at the airport that had the same thing if you really want to sample the genuine American delicacy known as "da burger".

I'm an avid enforcer of eat what I fix or don't eat at all! It's a little harder to enforce while at WDW! The portions are still much more than I would ever make them eat at home. Splitting a meal for them is not that big of a deal whether it's a burger and fries or anything else! We do a sit down meal every day where they do get their own meal and eat as much or little as they want.

I get kids meals all the time when in the parks. Except for the pizza, the more pizza the better for me. Lately I've been wondering what healthier options they offer for meals. I know they have fruit but that's more of a snack.

Except that 1) it's difficult to get to, 2) it's way crowded ALWAYS, and 3) you can get a sandwich anyplace.

All true, but we have yet to be dissatisfied.

Went to BOG lunch. No trouble getting a table. We all had sandwiches. We were unanimously unimpressed. You can get two outstanding sandwiches (AAA discount!) from Earl at those prices.
