The place where honeymoons come true

Well y'all better late there never, after 7 months my wife and I took our honeymoon to the wonderful world of Disney. I figured since the little one is content this morning I would go ahead and start my very first trip report. To begin I'll give an over view. Don't wory pics are to follow. My wife and I enjoyed 7 magical days in the kingdom enjoying every moment. We went ahead and since it was such a special event we splurged on the delux dinning. "worth every cent".

So to start we had to my wife and I drove the our little mouse " Julia" "dd" to the grandparents house for the week while mom and I were at the house of the mouse. Now Loni "dw" had not flown in several years so she was a little nervous about our early morning flight, but that all went away with her early mothers day present. Apparently Julia had gotten mommy new head phones and Disney song on the iPad to make her flight that much more fun.

Unfortunately I have to pack up the little one and head to work will continue another day.

good morning WDWMAGIC. We stayed at the Port Orleans French Quarter which I must say is my new favorite. We were in building 3 so we were nice and close to the main lobby and my morning coffee. If you havent stayed at the FQ I have to say its like walking the streets of New Orleans. Jazz music everywhere and a feel of Martigra thick in the air

we dicided to spend our half day at down town Disney. strolling down the shops picking out our bride and groome ears and a nice dinner before heading to the Kingdom. Our dinner was at T-Rex, which was a blast... partly cause there is a small child inside me that loves Dino's. DW got the shrimp artichoke dip which I must say was amazing!!! I got a steak which was honestly a little above average compared to the other places we ate, but I'll get to that later.

And on to the Magic Kingdom, of course our favorite place to be. expecialy since on October 23 2010 I proposed on Main Street USA. I must say the crouds were not bad for what i expected.

once though the gates we raced off to pirates "the first ride we rode as an engaged couple" but once we crossed the bridge the tiki gods had other plans. Florida dumped on us lightning and all, and for some reason they closed pirates, jungle cruise "understand", splash "understand", Haunted ?, so our first ride as a married couple was small world. Siting in the row infront of us had a lil baby with them who was 2 day younger than our little Julia. and for the first time ever I didnt get stuck! we decided to take this time since the fireworks and parade was starting to ride as many thing we could. and take a few interesting camera shots.

good evening... sorty bout not posting more sooner work has been a little crazy... Now we come to day 2... our first full true disney day where we quickly headed to Hollywood Studios. I must say one of the greatest parts of staying at POFQ was how quickly it seemed to have a bus right there... and for the most part the French Quarter seemed to have it's own bus so it was never extrealy crowded like it was out last trip at Allstar Music. http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash3/558731_10100308748552565_34416098_42143595_499950639_n.jpg

Once we arrived of course my inner nerd busted out and I literaly ran to Star Tours "it was being referbed on our last trip". This would be my first time riding the Countined tour and I must say LOVE IT!!!! by the end of our trip I drug my wife on to our star speeder 1000 eight times.

even my wife whom has only seen episode one loved it... twards the end not so much... our wonderful journey gravitated us to anouther one of my favs at DHS Muppets. Now even though I am a huge muppet fan I must say it is time to update it. but i can gladly report that everything was working penguins, cheif and all.

I dont plan on boring yall with every last detail of our trip but i will hit the highs and lows... one of our lows was at the backlot tour. Now I've only been to the world 4 times now my wife 6 times but I've never seen where they dont take people to make a fool of them selves and get soaked... personaly ive been the mechanic 4 times. twice in one trip... Is this an off season thing or idk... cause my last trip was october and i will had a load of water dumped on me.

dinner that night was brown derby. So good, I recomend this to everyone who goes. I would have pictures but at every dinner my wife would look at me and tell me to put the camera down other wise i would have pics of every coarse we had...
