My countdown says 179 days so I figured I could start writing my first ever pre-trip report.
I love Disney, have been 5 times each for 10 days, and spent way too much time reading TR.
I am on the Disney mailing list and last year I got an email with a free dining offer. Now I always want to go to WDW so a Free Dining offer is a perfect excuse to start planning.
When I got this email I was thinking how wonderful it would be if we could have a family holiday. I was missing my youngest brother a lot as he lives in Australia and the rest of my family lives in the Netherlands while I live in the UK. Problem is my siblings have spouses and kids and not everyone gets on due to different parenting techniques etc. plus it would be way too expensive for everyone to come.
What I really wanted was a holiday at my favourite place with my favourite people, my siblings and my mom. So I sent them all an invite to an Originals Reunion at AKL from 30 till 12 December. I made it clear it was just for them, no spouses or kids. I wasn't sure how everyone would react but within 5 min. they had all said YES. Once I knew everyone was onboard I booked the rooms and ultimate magic tickets and got free dining for all of us. I choose AKL because it is my mom's favourite but we have never stayed there.
I made my dining reservations yesterday but may tweak them a bit as needed if plans change.

I would like to book the Candlelight Procession in EPCOT but tickets aren't available yet.
I will also be ordering a cake for our dinner at CG but haven't decided on design yet. Unluckily I have months left to obsessively look at Disney cakes to try and decide.
