The one about money and stuff

So far, I have paid for everything in Chase Visa Disney Rewards. The cruise is paid in full. I pre-purchased some gifts for the stateroom (champagne, etc.) So far, so good.

I would like to pay for everything else on the cruise with rewards, not with a credit card.

The easiest would be: can I leave my rewards card on file instead of a credit card? Then everything will just be automatically charged to the rewards card.

If not, I would leave my Disney Visa on file. In that case: can I make payments with my rewards card online every night to avoid them charging the card? (I think I heard they let it go to a certain amount before charging it, rather than every day.) Can I make rewards payments online, or would I have to go to guest services every day to make a payment in person?

I've also heard you can prepay online before the cruise. I suppose I can guestimate the cost of 2 x Palo, 2 x Remy, 1 or 2 tastings, drinks, tips, and some other odd stuff, and then take my chances as we go (?) At the very least, that might save me 2 or 3 trips to guest services making payments. I also heard if you overpay in advance and don't end up spending, it gets refunded back to your cc. Not sure if that would work with a rewards card.

Only thing out of pocket so far was passports, and I suppose COVID tests will be. Oh, and the dog sitter!

I believe the answer to your question is yes. You can leave the rewards card on file, but it'll be treated like cash. So if the balance on the rewards card gets below a certain amount, you'll have to add more to it, or use the Disney Visa card.
