okay, I know there have been a great many new rides and shows that,in there amazing special effects and innovative themes, have brought us all to the edge of our seats and the verge of tears.
But nothing I have seen in Disney has touched my heart with pure Disney magic, than 20000 leagues under the sea.
Yes, this poor ride has been gone for many years, but I've never forgotten it. I went on it when i was 6, and the thought of sinking to the depths of the ocean and spying in on the fantastic creatures, brought me utter enchantment.
There was no choice but to shut the ride down,of course.Expensive maitenance, safety hazards, and wheelchair difficulties plauged the dream, and brought about it's demise.

I miss it.Alot.
turning it into a beautiful lagoon is a nice peaceful tribute, to a special memory.

I also greatly miss this classic disney ride. It was my favorite as a young child and I was really dissapointed when it was shut down. Another classic was the skyride from Fantasyland to Tomorrowland. It seems that the best disney rides are the ones that are selected to be shut down or replaced. We can only hope that they never touch the haunted mansion or Pirates of the Carribbean.

Oh gosh...I just can't "replace" the following: Dreamflight, Journey into Imagination, Horizons, the World of Motion, Kitchen Kabaret...how wonderful they were! :)

I agree with Dreamflight, Horizons, and the original Journey Into Imagination. I would also like to add that wasn't there a ride in the Seas Pavilion a long time ago. I remember that being kind of neat.

But, my number one missed ride is...(drumroll please)

SKYWAY!!!! Even though you could see all the backlot stuff and the buildings that held the actual rides, it was a pleasant way to get from Tomorrow Land to Fantasyland or vice versa.

I agree with you 100%. That was a amazing ride. I only rode once, but it was a experience of a lifetime.
