A dear friend of mine, knowing I'm homesick for Disney got to the front of the castle yesterday called me just so he could let me listen to the show live. He later E-mailed me several videos he took this trip! Has anybody ever done something unexpected just because they know how much you love Disney?

I get the torturing videos of everything going on. I actually had a friend give the phone to one of the women actresses at HWS last time they were there. It was hilarious but painful at the same time.

We've been known to call our kids from their favorite rides back in their teenage years. Mexico was always a good one for that.

My brother-in-law lives about 3 miles from WDW and goes there all the time. He calls us to tell us that he is in one of the parks and how great the weather is etc. Did I mention i hate my brother in law.

My parents go to the parks several times a month. When my mom gets home, she calls to give me a blow-by-blow description of everything they did that day.

I knew he should have just brought me along for the trip! So far he's called me twice to say he was lost and couldn't figure out which way to go next! He better bring me home something really cute!! Expensive wouldn't hurt either!!!!!!!! LOL

im usually the caller in these situations, and always make it a point to call my father when i get beside spaceship earth. before my parents divorced that area to the left of the globe, by some bushes, because our unofficial hang-out, so i like to text a pic and call him from there.

To answer the OP....NOTHING. Just FB posts/updates. Although a friend recorded Wishes on her iPad for me. But all I could picture was the annoying person who was in front of ME last time I was at Wishes, using their iPad to record. HAHAHA

My daughter got to go one year with a friend's family. She knew how much I talked about the night time MK parades and that they just switch back the ELP that I saw last in 1980. She called me from Main St and had me listen to the entire parade on her phone. Needless to say, the sound quality was CRAP, but being a good Dad, I waited until the end and praised her like crazy for thinking of me and wanting to share the parade with her long distance.
