Here are my initial thoughts, but I am interested to hear more.

-With Echo Lake becoming Lucas Landing, what will become of the 50s Prime Time Cafe and Hollywood & Vine?
-2 Monster's Inc attractions?
-The Pixar Play Parade will not fit down the streets in the back half of the park, especially through Pixar Place.
-How do you plan to move Fantasmic to suddenly be in Animation Courtyard? That's impossible.
-Thrill Avenue = Horrible Name...sorry.

The rest, I'll wait and see what you can pull off. I assume Marvel is going where Streets of America is, but I am wondering how much of the streets will be removed.

-Rethemed To Mos Eisley Cantina and a restaurant based on the Indy Cairo scene.
-I was trying to decide between the Ratatouille Ride and The Door Coaster.
-In the plan, Pixar Place is the second largest area in the park, minus Marvel Backlot.
-Thrill Av. (which needs to have a name change) will only be a minimal area in the bottom right corner of the park.
-Yeah I know. Any suggestions for a new name?

All of the Streets will be removed. It will start almost directly behind Muppet Vision... and extend to around the play area is. The park size will be extended backwards for Marvel and Pixar, Right for Animation, Pixar, and Thrill Area, and left for muppets and the Indy coaster.

I have a couple suggestions for names of lands...

FOr "Thrill Avenue" that really doesnt fit in with the theme of the park, so what if you have ToT and add a NBC ride and/or a "horror special effects show" to fit in with the studios theme, and call it HorrorWood

ANd then for RnRC you can have taht in a land of its own, that can connect Animation Ctyd to HorrorWood called Melody Way, and you could add another musically themed attraction

Just suggestions :)

Cool. Lost could fit into that area.

Ok thanks!

To start, I will explain one of the most complicated aspects of the park: The Lost Mini- Land.

-Huge Indoor Complex themed to the island
-Building's lighting changes with time of day
-3 rides (Simulator, dark ride, and coaster.)
-Snack Stand (Chicken Shack)
-Quick Service/Sit Down Restaurant (Lost Cafe')
-Lifelike AA's of the main characters
-Incredible theming
-Caves and places to explore

To enter the building, you must first take an airplane simulator. Obviously, the plane crashes and you find yourself on the island. To exit the area, you can enter a spinning vortex that takes you back out into HorrorWood.

Dark Ride: Basically an incredibly themed ride (Named LOST adventure) through the plotline of the TV show.

Roller Coaster: (Polar Bear Encounter) Launched looping coaster that brings you face to face with fearsome AA polar bears.

I am now also having ideas for the other WDW parks... so I think I may start a thread, also including this, for a huge revamp of WDW....

I got something to say for each of these.

The Simulator: You're probably going to want an alternate entrance to the island. I know it really screws the experience, but a large portion of the population are prone to motion sickness. My dad and my sister are two examples, though you don't know them. You get the point.

The Dark Ride: I would advise against following the plotline of the TV show, only because many people will ride it, having not been familiar with the story. After riding the LOST Adventure, however, there would not be a point to watching the show. Perhaps a better idea would just be to ride through the different locations of the show, though that might still cause problems.

The Coaster: I just wanted to say that this would most likely be better effective if the house for the coaster was not on the actual "island."

Good ideas!

I agree..... I suppose I could just have people walk through the airplane and exit into the island. It's sort of like the Wild Arctic Attraction at SeaWorld, with a simulator entrance into the area as well as a standard one. Or maybe I can just show a movie that has no simulator effects.

I was thinking that the ride could have a pre-show explaining the basics of the TV show.

I don't think i would make it an indoor coaster....

My point was the fact that you would be spoiling the cliffhangers and plot twists that make up the tv show in its entirety. I suggest a ride that does not give away any secrets of the "island", if you will.

Of course not... it would confuse the riders who have no idea of the show. It's basically a retelling of the characters storys before the island, then the final scene is the introduction of the island and the Dharma Initiative. That's basically it.

^I don't want you to change your idea just because I said so. It should be on the island, like you had it initially. All I'm saying is that you don't want to give anything away.

I never planned to really give anything away, but just explain the basics.

Will do. Next, I'll explain the 2 new rides being inserted into Rock and Roll Way area.

THE QUEEN EXPERIENCE
Journey through all the famous songs from Queen in this 3D dark ride featuring awesome special effects, an amazing audio sountrack, and AAs aplenty.

The Beatles: Yellow Submarine
Based on the original movie, as well as the upcoming remake, you will travel in, you guessed it, a Yellow Submarine through the events of the movie. All the while, you will encounter AAs of all the characters as well as the band, all accompanied by a killer audio soundtrack with some of the Beatle's Greatest hits.

Sunset Blvd. should remain the name of that street. The Melody Way idea works to connect Animation Courtyard and Rock N' Roller Coaster.

All streets removed is pretty unrealistic but ok, so if all were redone and expanded, some would benefit, others remain unchanged, and some would be completely impossible. Extending the park backwards would be ideal, but some operations/backstage areas are needed. Just remember there are roads on all sides of the park. Not just backstage either. There are parkinglot entrance roads and even the major highway much further back.

Well, if you look at my other thread... Thrill Avenue has been changed to the Fifth Dimension featuring ToT, NBC ride, Lost, and Villains ride. Rock N' roller, Queen, and Yellow submarine make up Rock n Roll Way. Also, Marvel Backlot is removed in favor of a fifth gate, and in it's place is Sci-Fi backlot. This would mean that most of the streets would remain, because the now fit in with the theme. And I lied before, the New York street could've fit into the Marvel Area because of Spiderman.

If I can draw a layout and figure out how to get it on here, I will.
