The mystery of ToT's shaft lights

When I was watching a video of the Tower of Terror from 2013, I noticed that when they were pointing at the tower from the outside, I saw shaft lights in Foxtrot that were on the side. A video from 1994 at the beginning also shown these same lights on in Foxtrot. These are not to be confused with the green lights at the top. Does anyone know anything about them? They definitely do not work now.

Those are actually just the worklights. It means the person filming caught Foxtrot side testing with the worklights on.
I really doubt it though, if you look more closely at the first video it does not look like the VVC lights are on, it also seems pretty dim to be work lights. One other thing that back in 1994, the VVC wall lights would come on at the top. If it is true though that they are just work lights, it would be cool to integrate into the drop profile effects as well as making the wall lights work again.

There are worklights on each floor of the drop shaft in addition to the VVC lights coming on at full brightness. They look dim because its just one lightbulb per floor of the drop shaft, per side, and also it's bright outside and the camera is far away.
