I was looking at my wait times app, and since many rides at Animal Kingdom were closed today, THIS happened to be the most crowded ride of the day:

That being said, what are your thoughts on this insane wait time for this ride that rarely has a wait? Would YOU wait 55 minutes for this ride?

Man. That's a longgggg time to wait to be poked in the back by my insect friends. Buying this heat since it does have a/c I maaaayyy consider it. Or I could just go shopping in the cute stores there instead decisions decisions.

If I still hadn't experienced on my trip and I had already experienced everything else AK had to offer I'd probably wait, however as others have said it's probably an error I have never seen a queue for it, have always got into the next show.

I'd say that this wait time is probably wrong. Usually the wait is the length of the show, so 5 to 10 minutes.
All the major rides (Kali, Everest, Dinosaur) were closed that day, and the only things open were this and the safari, which had a 35 minute wait. It's odd because the safari is usually the one with the longer wait!

It's a fun show to sit through but not enough of a thrill to make me wait that long to get to see it. If everything was closed down I'd probably park hop somewhere else and come back another day, unless I had an ADR at Yak & Yeti. I might still park hop and come back just to dine.

Wow. Kali, Everest and Dinosaur all closed? Regret to hear about such poor fortune. I know that Dinosaur will be closed during my vacation but taking Everest and Kali away in addition would destroy the visit!

There was probably a thunderstorm rolling through that forced the outdoor rides to close. (And Dino is closed for refurb) I'm surprised Safari wasn't stopped, too.
