THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CHRISTMAS EVER IN DISNEYLAND® PARK
From November 9, 2002 until January 5, 2003, more lights and decorations than ever before await guests in Disneyland® Park. This year's seasonal celebration includes a range of new, enchanting entertainment that adds even more magic to the Disney Christmas experience.
NEW: Belle's Christmas Village
In the heart of Fantasyland, the magic of Christmas will come alive in Belle's Christmas Village. Guests will be able to experience the sights and sounds of an authentic mediaeval town inspired by Belle's home in Beauty and the Beast, as well as savour all sorts of Yuletide fare such as hot chestnuts, toffee apples and marshmallows. Further Christmas delights include a glass blower and a puppet theatre in one of the village windows, as well as Belle and her friends inviting children of all ages to "Be Our Guest" as they perform song and dance numbers several times throughout the day.
NEW: A White Christmas on Main Street, U.S.A.
It will be an unforgettably white Christmas on Main Street, U.S.A. throughout the coming holiday season. Snowflakes will fall on this Victorian street to mark the entertainment highlights of the day.
NEW: Donald Duck's Christmas Tree
At the foot of Sleeping Beauty Castle, guests will discover that some of their favourite Disney characters - Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Chip 'n Dale, Goofy and Pluto - have rather imaginatively decorated some Christmas trees with personalised ornaments and garlands. This year, a colourful new tree will be added, decorated in inimitable style by Donald Duck.
Throughout the end of year festivities, the Disney characters will visit this enchanted area, bringing Christmas cheer, wonder and photo opportunities with them.
NEW: Goofy's Christmas's Grotto
A very special Father Christmas - none other than Goofy in the traditional red and white costume - will help make even more dreams come true this year! On the Castle Stage just next to Sleeping Beauty Castle, a quaint wooden cottage with a familiar looking sleigh outside will open its doors several times a day, every day, for children who wish to meet Disney's very own Father Christmas for a seasonal souvenir photo.
