Good Day Folks. You know I was thinking last night in bed ( do my best thinking there ) What would you call Disney Geeks.? I think children should be called Disneytinks ( great name for a Disney kindergarten ) and teenagers called Disneyites, and adults called Disneyaerians.Anyway, back to my thread. What park do you think comes to life at night. For me it's MK. I think dark attractions like Haunted & Pirates seem better and Transit is awesome during the night seeing the park lit up,even the new Dumbo, with the coloured water fountains look awesome, not to mention Cinderella's Castle. So what is your favourite park at night & why.?;)

In my opinion, DHS wins by a longshot. MK and Epcot are close but Tomorrowland steals the win for MK. Then AK just kinda sits there (Avatar will change this!) ;)
Cheers for the awesome pics.Just realised Thats it's around 8.30pm in Australia as its 09.30am here in Scotland.Anyway thanks for the photos, and never thought that HS looks that good at night.;)

I think the most magical park at night is MK you can go anywhere and be in a completely different park than durring the day! That being said HS is amazing at night just strolling up and down the streets you get a feeling that you've been transported to another dimension. That's right ToT at night you are in another dimension!!!

Are you sure its not on the pot? Anyways, I love all of the parks at night. I wish I got to spend more time in them taking in the lighting that is so amazing. Its something you cannot really grasp by seeing the lights on during the day. I cannot wait to see AK for the first time at night this trip. I know it has to remain darker, but still seeing it at night is going to be great.

as its 09.30am here in Scotland

Good time for a Tennants or McEwans. Well, maybe in another 3 hours.

Definitely not on the pot.Well not since the sixties.Never been to AK at night.Done "Fantasmic" at HS at night and had a wee walk round, but it's such a small park.

The Castle is breathtaking, Spaceship Earth is iconic in my mind , TOT is just Wow and the Tree of Life is inspiring. These are just the main "attractions" that I am highlighting.
I honestly can't decide. But, if Father O'Reily said, "You must decide child!" I would have to go with Magic Kindgom.

My ds says his favorite after dark park is Epcot he likes TT, SSE and a snack while watching illuminations. Mk is his second favorite. I think it's the food that makes the difference!

My first thought would be MK but this past July while waiting for some family members who were on TOT and RnRC my eight year old asked if she could use my brand new, saved up for dream camera to take some pictures. Very, very nervously I placed the camera neck strap on her and showed her a few buttons. Wow! She took pictures of things I had passed hundreds of times and never looked at. It was night time and she took so many pictures of the lit up signs and designs. They were wonderful. It's really a beautiful park at night.

So on a side note, every once in a while slow down and REALLY see the parks and gives your kids the camera. You will be amazed to see Disney through their eyes.

Wow tough call. I think all the parks look completely different at night compared to during the day. I love walking down MS USA with all the stores outlined in white lights with a view of Cinderella's Castle changing colors in the background, and then looking over the bridge to Tomorrowland and seeing the neon lights. In HS I love seeing TOT at the end of Sunset Blvd, that street feels more alive at night, and actually I don't mind seeing the BAH at night, I love the lighting behind it. In Epcot SSE looks amazing, and I love walking around WS and looking across at SSE. But if I had to pick, I'd pick AK. I've only experienced AK at night once and it was breathtaking. The park empties out and you can just take your time going through the walking trails, looking at the details that most people run past during the day, seeing the tree of life at night is just stunning.

I'm not a big picture guy, but I have an average digital camera. I always say I'm going to get some night pics but never do. We will be at MK this Sunday night and I think it's time to finally take some.

For me it's DHS, but just barely. It seems like the back of DHS empties out very quickly so you are left with the park to yourself and I love that old time Hollywood feel at night. MK is second for me and mostly because of a few specific rides. Jungle Cruise, HM, and TTA are all spectacular at night. I know HM is all indoors but the queue seems creepier at night and walking out into the bright FL sun just kills the mood. JC really depends on the skipper, but closer to closing (especially a late closing) some of them get really funny and there usually aren't many kids on board so the jokes can be a little more...adult friendly!
