Any Idea what they are doing? Just some minor fixes I assume?

Everyone says the tour is very sad now with all the animators gone.

But since, I have never experienced before, I might try to do it on the 25th Sept.

I talked to one of the tour CM's tonight....they actually turned on the lights so I could see the construction going on in the old offices. He stated that the attraction is being replaced with one very similar to that found at DCA.

The first room will remain (Mushu room) but the rest is being remodeled, including the courtyard/animators break area. Guests will be able to redubb their voices into the films, draw charactars, and many other things.

And they expect to accomplish all of this in two weeks? Even if construction has already begun in the fishbowl, it seems like they'd need a little more time than that to tie everything together.

The guy I talked to made it sound like part of the tour (the gallery section and the second room) would be closed starting 7/26/04.

i can't belive they closed period but i will say i will miss robin williams he in gerneral is much funnier than eddie murphy. i always wondered recently why not let chris sanders do the tour as stitch?
beyond that now that the animation department is closed there is no hope that i will ever meet chris sanders

When we took the Animation Tour in Feb everything was shut down, of course, and there was a guy drawing characters. Very boring and such a horrible site.
